A quitley, consistent corner, Brown became a full-time starter in 2004 for the first time in his career, since being drafted out of South Carolina in the 2nd round of the 2002 draft. Brown inked a six-year contract extension on 11/4/04 that will keep him in Philadelphia through 2012. He ranked 3rd on the team in tackles (94) and his 3 sacks in 2004 set a club record for sacks by a CB.
